Special Interest Groups

You are encouraged to join any of the following special interest groups:

College Sector Educators Community (CSEC)
While the goals and strategic directions of STLHE are as applicable to educators in the Canadian college sector as they are to university educators, there are issues and factors specific to the college context that may merit specific collegial support. If you wish to become a member, contact Tim Loblaw.

Teaching Assistant and Grad Student Advancement (TAGSA)
Broadly speaking, TAGSA seeks to raise the profile of TA and graduate student development in Canada and to provide leadership in highlighting initiatives to develop teaching skills and other professional skills in graduate students. If you wish to become a member, contact Marie Vander Kloet or Michal Kasprzak.

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL)
Membership in SoTL Canada is open to members-in-good-standing of STLHE who are involved in SoTL in the post-secondary context and who support the goals of the SIG. Members may include faculty, staff, administrators, and students.  If you wish to become a member, contact Janice Miller-Young.
