Taking Stock 2.0: Transforming Teaching and Learning in Higher Education webinar
When
10 Jun 2020
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Location
Virtual Zoom Webinar
Registration is closed
A lot has changed in our understanding of, and approach to teaching and learning in higher education, since the 2010 publication of
Taking Stock: Research on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education
.
And yet, much has stayed the same (even despite the current pandemic). As we approach the book's tenth anniversary, it seems appropriate to take stock once again - of what we know now, what has changed and what further change is needed in support of deep and essential learning in our ever-changing world.
Please join us - editors Julia Christensen Hughes, Joy Mighty, and Denise Stockley - for an engaging conversation at 2:30 EDT on June 10! We hope to draw on your insightful research, lived experience and wise reflections as we finalize the structure and proposed content for Taking Stock 2.0. It is our intention that this second book will support the work of STLHE and its members for years to come.
Following the webinar, there will be a call for chapter contributions, with a publication target date of spring 2021 (just in time for the 40th Anniversary of STLHE and our conference in Ottawa).
