BC and Yukon Teaching & Learning Leadership Regional Workshop

This workshop is for individuals in formal and informal leadership roles who want to explore and build on their leadership within higher education. In this session, participants will begin to develop a leadership philosophy and join a supportive network of peers to share opportunities and challenges in teaching and learning leadership. We define teaching and learning leadership to mean initiatives that you are currently involved in that contribute to the enhancement of teaching and learning within post-secondary environments.

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to

1. Categorize the areas of teaching and learning leadership where you contribute most actively;

2. Map the ways in which your values and teaching and learning leadership align;

3. Begin to articulate a philosophy of teaching and learning leadership; and

4. Determine next steps for advancing your own philosophy of teaching and learning leadership.
